Whenever the system detects a movement (according to its calibration), it will record an image. Most of the time, such an event is triggered by a feline lifeform, but changes in lighting and human crew's maintenance of said feline's life support system can also arouse suspicion and be recorded.
The local system keeps the last 50 images in memory. When it has been at least 30 minutes and it detects a movement, it will upload those 50 images to the Web server.
At night, the room is totally dark and the black and white images are infrared images.
